We are devastated to report the theft of our New Holland Boomer 25 tractor plus mower, which was stolen during a break-in at the club in the early hours of 27^th March (between 2.30 and 3.30am), by a gang of 4 masked men.

The tractor was towed away in a Landrover style vehicle with a flatbed trailer on the back.  If you live in the local area, please can we ask you to check any CCTV or doorbell cam footage.

This loss will have a massive financial impact on the club, and in the short-term we need to find someone to cut our pitches on a weekly basis.  This could not have come at a worse time for us, as we have just had all of the pitches re-seeded and fertilised.  If you know of anyone who can help or who has access to grass-cutting machinery, please contact the club.

This is a tough time for the club, we are a small village football club run by volunteers, and a registered charity, but we have confidence that our club members and the local community will get behind us and do what they can to help us get through this awful time.

This unexpected loss has put huge pressure on our volunteers and club finances, and we urgently need support to be able to fund interim cutting of our pitches whilst we go through the insurance process. We will also be looking to add extra security measures to protect our club and all of its contents.”
