Men’s 1st Team

The HPFC 1^st team play in the Premier Division of the Essex and Suffolk Border Football League which sits at step 7 (or level 11) of the National League System, offering promotion to Division 1 of the Eastern Counties (Thurlow Nunn) League.

Since 2016 the first team has been managed by Steve Pretty, finishing runners up in the 2017 Border League K.O. Cup and latterly were extremely unfortunate to be eliminated at the semi-final stage in 2018.
We have been privileged to have several players play for the SBFL representative team over the last few seasons with our leading goal scorer topping the entire league in both 2018 and 2020.

The 1st team are the pinnacle of the men’s structure, all 3 teams train together to ensure a full cross over of players within all teams.
