Hatfield Peverel Blues U10 – Squad Summary 2026/27

The Hatfield Peverel Blues U10 team enters the 2026/27 season with a fantastic group of 11 boys who have been playing together for three years, having formed as a team at a young age.

Over the past two seasons, the Blues have achieved back-to-back promotions, demonstrating not only their ability but also the continued development, commitment and togetherness of the squad. This season, they will take on a new challenge in Division 2 of the Blackwater & Dengie League.

What really sets this team apart is their style of football. The Blues are, in our view, the best passing football team we have seen at their age group. They play with confidence, move the ball quickly, look to create space and, importantly, play for each other. Their understanding on the pitch is a huge strength and is a reflection of the three years they have spent developing together as a team.

The squad offers a great balance of defensive solidity, creativity and attacking threat, with players capable of contributing in different positions. With Leo providing a strong presence in goal, Archie G leading the team from the back, and a talented group of midfielders and attackers who are comfortable with the ball, the Blues have all the ingredients to continue playing their attractive, passing-based football.

At the heart of the team is a strong sense of friendship and togetherness. Having grown and developed alongside one another for three years, the boys know each other’s games extremely well and have built an understanding that cannot simply be coached overnight.

Looking Ahead

The 2026/27 season represents another exciting step in the journey for Hatfield Peverel Blues U10. Division 2 will provide the boys with a new level of competition and plenty of challenges, but after two consecutive promotions, the squad has every reason to be confident.

The focus will remain on developing the players, playing football the right way and, most importantly, enjoying the game together.

The team is managed by Rhys and Paul, who are looking forward to seeing the boys continue their development and take the next step in what has already been a brilliant three-year journey.
